Ms. Margot Song, Chairman & CEO of EnviroVest Group, was invited to meet with Mr. Bruno Le Maire, the French Minister of the Economy and Finance. Ms. Song communicated and exchanged viewpoints at length with Mr. Le Maire and other French senior officials in the environmental sector as it relates to EV’s investment strategies and activities in France, which benefited from a renewed and strengthened Sino-French economic and financial strategic partnership.

The meeting occurred during Mr. Bruno Le Maire’s first visit to China, where he co-chaird the China-France 5th High Level Economic and Financial Dialogue with Chinese Vice-Premier Ma Kai. China remains strongly committed to the new growth philosophy: to develop modernized economy and foster highquality economic development, while the new French government under President Macron is dedicated to rejuvenating the French economy, both of which present new opportunities to the Sino-French economic and financial collaborations.

Ms. Song elaborated EV’s investment strategy and footprints investing in French SMEs in the environmental sector, and helping these SMEs expand businesses to meet demands from China as they tackle the global environmental problems. Mr. Le Maire expressed appreciation to EV’s approach investing-in and growing French companies with a long-term perspective, and encouraged EV to continue to promote financial cooperation in the areas of sustainable and clean energy, environmental and ecological protection. Ms. Song reaffirmed EV’s adherence to the principle of "mutually beneficial and win-win for China-France business". The parties agreed that with continued support from both governments, environmental services investments conducted under this principle are not only long-term oriented, organic, interactive and sustainable, but also aligned with the core policies and interests of both countries.

Mr. Le Maire emphasized that France welcomes and supports financial cooperation with Chinese investors, especially in the environmental sector.
