Backed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and jointly sponsored by the Federation of Italian Machanical and Engeering Industries (ANIMA) and the Italian Investment and Trade Commission (ITA), the grand EXPORT DAYS ANIMA 2020 was held in Milan, Italy on February 13 to 14th, 2020.

The event brought together more than a hundred companies from Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and other places around the world, spanning a variety of industries such as energy, water resources, environmental protection, construction, and industrial equipment. Ms. Margot Song, Chairman of EnviroVest Industry Ltd, was a special guest of ITA and ANIMA, and the lead of the Chinese delegation. She was invited to attend and deliver a speech on international cooperation in the environmental services sector.

Facing the critical period of epidemic prevention and control in China, EnviroVest as a company shoulders the important social responsibility of providing safe handling of mounting medical wastes. EnviroVest’s management and its employees are at the forefront of the war against the epidemic and have decided to cancel the in-person attendance of the ANIMA Export Day 2020. Out of respect for the Italian partners and the event organizaers, and to remain consistently engaged in the international cooperation between Chinese and Italian companies in environmental services, Ms. Song and her team produced and delivered the video presentation titled “Green Economy–Export Today” in an efficient manner with very tight timeframe. The video of the keynote speech by Ms. Song was broadcasted live during the opening ceremony of the conference on the morning of the 14th. In her speech, Ms. Song made a deep dive into the state of the international cooperation in environmental services industry, the development of China's environmental services arena, i.e. a booming market, with its own challenges but ample opportunities, and emphasized that bilateral cooperation can help Italian companies seize the opportunites in the unprecedented prosperity of China's environmental protection and service industry. Meanwhile, she suggests that in the economically developed coastal areas of China, various models, such as technology and services introduction and joint construction of demonstration pilot projects should help upgrade China's pollution control and environmental remediation industry, as it opens opportunities to promote Italy's advanced environmental services technologies and help these projects to take root in China's vast market, a notion that was positively received in China and Italy.
